new sketchbook process
Today I was trying out some new techniques – mixing graphite with turpentine – never tried this before so thought I would give it a go – this is A4 size – watercolour, graphite, turps and some pastel primer on paper. Â Lots to experiment with here.

new name for a very changed image – this began as ‘somethings lost will never be found’
I am still not entirely sure it is resolved but is not nearly as sentimental/melancholic as original.

almost there – now the final struggle between finishing and leaving – I am torn with leaving the final panel almost as is – a counterpoint.

two of the five panels have been commenced – i am combining stitch on paper with drawing, charcoal, pastel, watercolour , bible pages on plywood.  It is very liberating – stitch provides a line like no other!
