new sketchbook process
Today I was trying out some new techniques – mixing graphite with turpentine – never tried this before so thought I would give it a go – this is A4 size – watercolour, graphite, turps and some pastel primer on paper. Â Lots to experiment with here.

new name for a very changed image – this began as ‘somethings lost will never be found’
I am still not entirely sure it is resolved but is not nearly as sentimental/melancholic as original.

currently in a state of flux – or perhaps mild panic would be closer to the truth,  solo exhibition opening in february so the count down has well and truly begun.  many false starts and already a large body of work discarded
